किसे  न्याय मिला निर्भया या  अनाचार और अपमान से  प्रदूशित  समाज को ? क्या न्याय भी दिशाहीन हो गई है इस वैभव में ?

Today is a very auspicious day : the GITA JAYANTI. It was on this day that Lord Krishna gave the pious sermon of Bhagvad Gita. It is not just a religious scripture, but a guide to live a tranquil life, maintaining a comfortable balance between spritualism and materialism. Today Arjuna's despondency is prevailing in everyone's mind and its cure is within Bhagvad Gita. It should be  a spiritual guide for the whole world. Every single shloka of the Bhagwad Gita is a gem and contains a very deep meaning. Here is one such shloka:
यः          सर्वत्रानभिस्नेहस्तत्तत्प्राप्या       शुभाशुभम्  ।
नाभिनन्दति     न   द्वेष्टि  तस्य   प्रज्ञा   प्रतिष्ठिता  ॥
He who is unattached to everything and meeting with good or evil, neither rejoices nor recoils, HIS MIND IS STABLE.

राम मंदिर का  बनना सिर्फ आस्था का प्रश्न  नहीं वरन राम हमारे जीवन के आधार हैं। राम का चरित्र  हमें    मर्यादित जीवन जीने की कला सिखाती  है। राम राष्ट्र की संजीवनी हैं  जो राष्ट्र को आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा प्रदान करने एवं  राष्ट्र को सकारात्मक गति प्रदान करने में सहायक होते हैं तथा हमें  सत्मार्ग की ओर ले जाने का कार्य करते हैं।  अतः राम मंदिर का बनना इसलिए भी आवश्यक  है ताकि हम अपने सांस्कृतिक मूल्यो को जीवित रख राष्ट्र में आध्यात्मिक क्रांति लाएं । राम के नैतिक जीवन से राष्ट्र के सांस्कृतिक धरोहरके उत्थान का मार्ग प्रसस्त हो ।  राष्ट्रीय चरित्र  को राम चरित्र  की अविरल धारा से बांधकर हम  अपने सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को जीवित रख सकते है।    

Kunti an epitome of tolerance signifies and represents the very pious word ‘sacrifice’. Our country India, also called Bharata, which produced such a great soul and we are children of that great soul. How could we be intolerant ?  Kunti, the very legendry figure in Mahabharat inspired me deeply. There is one episode in ‘Bhagvatam’ called ‘Kunti stuti’ where she prayed to Lord Krishna to give her sorrow so that she may be able to live nearer to him and always remember him. Such a deep sacrifice and tolerance could be seen in India only. We cannot fathom such deep philosophical depth of this country. Money, power, affluence, glamour etc. sometimes detaches us from ground realities and brings gap in our social relationships. It keeps us aloof from morality and ethics and our attitude transforms into elitist, aristocratic and negative behaviour. By this way one becomes destructive force in society rather than providing constructive role. Indian culture can only bring equanimity between materialistic and spiritual pleasure to keep us tranquil.  

 The role of opposition is indispensible in democracy but only when it works for national interest and   rather than trying to disrupt the constructive agenda of the party in power for political gains. The detoriating etiquette of the opposition in the parliament has become a major cause of concern, especially in the last few months. Instead of playing a constructive role, the opposition is always bent on wasting the valuable time in both the houses. Thorough introspection and inner-engineering on part of the opposition has become a necessity. For the sake of the nation, it must let the parliament function smoothly.  A healthy opposition always has a constructive approach and pave way for healthy and progressive debate rather than obstructing it. Discipline is imperative for every member of parliament and as they have responsibility upon their shoulders, they must filter their speech and actions, instead of misusing their FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

Secularism is the most misunderstood and misused term marketed by pseudo-secularists for personal  gains.  Our great cultural heritage has the ability to sustain unity in diversity  and it is only due to such rich cultural ethos  that a  great personality Sardar Patel was able to unify approximately 565 princely states . We must not forget and leave behind our cultural ethos. The so called secularists are just trying to fuel the fire of disharmony and mistrust amongst the common masses. Its high time now that we have a constructive and healthy debate on Article370, Uniform civil code and  Reservation issues and other core issues to negate the obnoxious influence and ideology of pseudo-secularists who are all set to annihilate our cultural nationalism.We can only answer them by exhibiting the depth of our culture. Also, in the meanwhile, we must let our constitution remain vibrant and dynamic by including some progressive and healthy changes so that we change with changing times. His will further help to deter the evil designs of these propagandists.

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST: has it become the defining feature of our society?

While going past Lalu Yadav’s, house yesterday  and  seeing the gaiety and high spirits of his well wishers  over his recent win made me realize the essence of  the law of ‘survival of the fittest’ in every sphere, be it family, society or politics. Such was the effect of his win that well wishes are pouring over him from all quarters, even from his enemies or to put it more precisely, his erstwhile political enemies. Power, wealth and  affluence have gone on to assume the greatest significance in families, society and above all in politics which is bound to have a catastrophic effect, sooner or later. Though the law of the “survival of the fittest” is not the hallmark of our culture, but it is alarming to see it being incorporated into it as its integral component and that too without us realising its repercussion. Those who have power can easily turn their negatives into positives and enmity into friendship, that too without sacrificing their ego or narrow mindedness. Now RJD’S every negative aspect  seems positive for the opportunists and this is the new trend and identity of politics in India.  Now if someone has power and wealth he/ she can experience an exponential growth in his/her stature while those people lacking power and wealth quickly fade away from the mind and heart of the masses even if they have had some positive contribution to the society.This is our misfortune.  Its better and should be more rewarding to do one’s ‘swa-dharma’and  selfless service. This is the sole foundation of Indian culture that will pave the way for  mutual understanding and acceptance  without judging people on the basis of their status of power , wealth and affluence. This is the sole way by which  we can live in peace, unity and harmony
