GANDHIJI said in his book- The Young India( 26th Nov. 1936 ) that there are certain texts in religious works which might be unacceptable to those who are not chauvinists and consider women to be at par with men, bestowing them with equal rights.Civilization needs to keep pace with changing times. Those things which are contrary to the fundamentals of religion and morality should be suitably revised. He rightly remarked: Man is born of woman, he is flesh of                                                                                        her flesh and bone of her bone

"अंतर के सयंम के बिना बाहर  का सयंम टिकाऊ नहीं होता। भक्ति और प्रेम के द्वारा मनुष्य निःस्वार्थ हो जाता है। आदमी के मन में जब किसी व्यक्ति  या आदर्श के प्रति प्रेम और भक्ति उपजती है ,,तब ठीक उसी अनुपात में स्वार्थपरता का ह्रास होता है। प्रेमाभ्यस  से मनुष्य क्रमशः सभी संकीर्णताओं के ऊपर उठ कर विश्व में लीन हो सकता है। मनुष्य जैसा सोचता है ,वैसा हो जाता है। जो अपने को दुर्बल ,पापी सोचते हैं वह क्रमशः दुर्बल पापी हो जाते हैं जो अपने आपको शक्तिशाली और पवित्र मानते है वह शक्तिशाली और पवित्र हो उठते है  "..... ........ नेताजी सुभाषचन्द्र   बोस ('तरुणेर स्वप्न' ' )

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA was the role model for youth who revolutionised, globalised and glorified the rich spiritual treasure of India. His prime message to the youth was that of spiritual awakening which is the only method to gain inner peace and realize the right path. He was of the opinion that spirituality is inherent in our nature and we cannot ignore it . He advised the new generations to keep intact our rich cultural heritage, feeling proud of it and glorify and globalize it. We must consider it as our strength. He said for a complete civilisation ,the world is waiting for the treasures to come out of India, waiting for the marvellous spiritual inheritance of this race which, through decades of degradation and misery ,the nation has still clothed to her breast. He rightly said “little do you know how much hunger and of thirst there is outside of India for these wonderful treasures of our forefathers”. We talk here , we quarrel here with each other; we laugh at and ridicule everything holy. Little do we understand the hearts of millions pang, waiting outside the walls; stretching forth their hands for a little sip of nectar, our forefathers have preserved in this land of India.

राम चरित्र की चर्चा अगर शिक्षण संस्थाओं में होने लगे और इस चर्चा में युवाओं की भागीदारी हो तो यह राष्ट्र के लिए सुखद संकेत है। परन्तु  दुर्भाग्यवश दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय   में राम चरित्र पर चर्चा होने पर भी कुछ वैसे बुद्धिजीवियों, जिनकी ज्ञान की सीमायें  four walls of ivory tower तक ही सीमित  है उनका विरोध करना स्वाभाविक है। हमारे राष्ट्रीय चरित्र  की  नींव तो 'राम चरित्र ' ही है। राम तो निराधार के आधार हैं ।  अगर  भारत  की आध्यात्मिक शक्ति का प्रवाह पूरे विश्व में हो रहा होता तो आज भौतिक  विकास की पराकाष्ठा पर पहुँचे  अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति  ओबामा की आँखों में 'gun culture' को लेकर आँसू  नहीं होते। जब राष्ट्र का विकास 'spritual alienation' से होकर गुजरता है तो वहाँ  विधायी  शक्तियाँ  कमजोर हो जाती हैं और राष्ट्र खंडित हो जाता है। अतः विवेकान्द का सपना भारत को अध्यात्म गुरु बनाना  साकार होता दिख रहा है  जब  शिक्षण संस्थाओं में युवाओं के  चरित्र पर राम चरित्र का समागम होगा।

जब वासना विपुल रज डाले अंध अभुज को बना भुला ले हे पवित्र तुम ,हे अनिद्र तुम रूद्र वेश में आना।

Today it is a great shame for us that our society is reaching such a cacophonious stage that even issues and objects of NATIONAL PRIDE and NATIONALSECURITY have become matters of controversy.Why are we inducing sectarian and ideological divides? Terrorism is an issue which is a great concern for national security .Similarly 'Vande Mataram' is an object of national pride and it is shameful that these two have become issues of controversy. Our nation must ensure that there is one NATIONAL VOICE an issues like these.

जिस  राष्ट्र की आत्मा उसकी संस्कृति होती है और उस संस्कृति का  श्रोत अगर अध्यात्म हो ,सत्य और शिवत्व हो वहाँ विधायक शक्तियां राष्ट्र की संरचना में सहायक सिद्ध होती है। विधायक ऊर्जा से राष्ट्र उध्वारोहण की ओर  बढ़कर सृजन करता है जिससे राष्ट्र की दिव्यता बढ़ती है। इसी आधारशिला से भारत में राष्ट्र का निर्माण हुआ है।  विभाजन के बाद से ही पाकिस्तान तमस प्रधान संकीर्णता और नकारत्मक शक्तियों का पोषण करता रहा और हिंसा और कलह से आतंकवाद का जन्मदाता बन गया। इस आतंकवाद की पीड़ा अब तो पूरे  विश्व को दिखाई दे रही  है। अगर पाकिस्तान को आज पूरा विश्व एक होकर  नैतिक अनुशासन में लाने  का काम नहीं करेगा  तो इसका दुष्परिणाम आतंकवाद के रूप में और भी घृणित एवं विनाशकारी रूप में सामने आएगा । 

पाकिस्तान की विधायक  शक्तियां खंडित हो चुकी है और इस राष्ट्र के अंदर प्रभावी शक्तियों का अभिष्ट   लक्ष्य ही हिंसा -कलह और आतंकवाद का फैलाव बन चुका है । वर्त्तमान परिस्थिति में ऐसे  राष्ट्र से संरचना की उम्मीद ही  क्या  की जा सकती है?

पाकिस्तान में जन्मे ,अदनान समी जैसे और भी बुद्धिजीवियों   की अगर बौधिक  मूर्छा  भंग हो गई हो तो भारत की सांस्कृतिक राष्ट्रवाद की विधायक  ऊर्जा को  अंतःकरण से समझने की कोशिश  करनी चाहियें।
