GROWING TERRORISM: A HARD REALITY 

The Islamabad high court's order to release  2008 Mumbai attack accused and Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi was a blunder.Though it has overturned its decision yet it shows the casual approach and attitude of Pakistan towards terrorism .Unless and until the international community don’t isolate Pakistan and other countries supporting terrorism  they will continue to support terrorism and as a result, terrorism will continue to flourish.

  

The teachings of Vivekananda  can be of a great help in the fight against terrorism. It gives a broad message to fundamentalists of all religion.His concept of religion should be discussed in UNO and other international forums, which can be very helpful  to tackle the evil of terrorism. It can be very useful and can provide a path to all religions of the world. He said : “Religion is the idea which is raising the brute unto man, and man unto God.Religion is neither in books, nor in theories, nor in dogmas, nor in talking,not even in reasoning. It is being and becoming . The secret of religion lies not in theories but in practice. To be good and to do well that is the whole of religion.

                  

Vinoba in his book ‘Talks on the Gita’ said:  “There is fight between Indra and Vrittra in the Vedas,between Ram and Ravan  in the Ramayan between Ahura Mazda and Ahriman in Zoroastrianism,between god and satan in Christianity, between Allah and Eblis in Islam. In all the religions, this fight has been described.”

         Thus in today’s world of religion, there is also fight between the killers of humanity the so called terrorists and fundamentalist of religion and dharm which sustains peace and humanity. In simple words, the fight goes on between dharm and adharm. 

    

Gandhi said: Religion means truth through non-violent means and that is the core of sanatan dharma also. Hinduism tells everyone to worship God according to his own faith or Dharma and so it lives at peace with all the religion.Thus religion should be based on humanity.

India has got the capability to lead the whole world with the help of its spiritual values. This also comes from its culture and cultural heritages. The countries responsible for supporting terrorism should take moral and spiritual lessons from India, which can help them to fight against terrorism.
