One of the major stumbling blocks for good governance is politicisation of bureaucracy or committed bureaucracy.  There should be bureaucratic independence so that development and growth are not done for the interest of politicians but for the country. Unless and until we free the bureaucracy from the clutches of politics, every government institution will perish and be paralysed. Instead of being a puppet in the hands of the politicians, bureaucracy should be strong enough to fight for the good cause. If bureaucracy and government work for the interest of country and not for their personal gains then India will progress in leaps and bounds. For the interest of the country it is necessary that there should be no bureaucratic psychophancy. The bureaucracy should be honest to its work because it is the  engine behind development and growth of the country. Politicians shouldn’t regulate the working methodology of bureaucracy for their personal gains. Harmony, symbiosis and proper coordination is needed everywhere and so is the case between bureaucracy and politics.
